The Bridge that owes its shape to the DNA – Helix Bridge, Singapore

Helix Bridge

Near to the incredible Marina Bay Sands Hotel and a few meters from the Art Science Museum, it is located the Helix Bridge, a unique and powerful element – Designed by Cox Architecture + Architects 61.

It represents the helix of DNA and all its meaning.


The architects – in full Singaporean mood –  have created this little infrastructure that assumes an helical shape, from which derives the name – Helix Bridge. Their intent was to create a sensational as well as functional element. Looking to the reactions of passers-by, it seems that they succeeded.
