What happens when North Korean Architects try to imagine the future?

What happens is both fascinating and both fun. We are used to see incredible projects, with amazing render, that are so much similar to reality. But here we are facing something unique.

In the last Venice Biennale in Italy, some North Korean Architects in their North Korean pavilion, have created a truly unique exhibition – entitled “Fees for Utopia”

It includes rendering by the best architects and artists (all anonymous) of North Korea, neither of which has never left the country. The exhibition has asked architects to imagine a vision of the future of sustainable architecture for North Korea for its booming tourism industry.

Up to you to identify those that are the most amazing weird things.  It is interesting to note that here there is a more genuine vision of the world that sees the city of the future being “inferior” to the contextual nature.
